My 1st and last Christmas

My host parents got off from work. Kayleigh and Kamryn woke Kaitlind and me up to get ready to open all our presents that we've got.

I was Santa, so first I passed all the presents out. Honestly it took awhile. We had a lot of presents.

Than the youngest started to open one present than the 2nd youngest one and so on... until all of us opened them.

I really enjoyed it.

It was hilarious to see the reactions from all of during we've opend each single present.

I had so much fun with taking pictures, seeing their happiness and being part of this beautiful adventure.

After we've got done. We had a lot of boxes and rapping paper laying on the ground. it was a huge mess.

By the way ... I love to open presents!! 

I got a bunch of awesome stuff that I would never expected.

I appreciate it so much that my host family gave me so many presents that I needed or stuff that I wished I have. 

What I got from my host sisters and my host parents:

1. New Ice watch ( I lost mine and was so sad) 

2. really cute slippers (cause I'm freezing all the time) 

3. blanket ( a really fuzzy and beautiful one ) 

4. sleeping pants and sweater 

5. baking cups ( cause my host mum knows that I love to bake all the American cakes cookies etc. and that we use in Germany diffrent measure. So she bought me diffrent kind of baking tools that I'm able to bake all the american recipes correctly without converting measures)

6. eos ( my favourite lip balm in all kind of types that they've found)

7. all kind of Chocolate ( even some German choclate that I showed them before)

8. an iPhone charger for the car ( the phone batterie is dying so fast ... everybody knows that who has a iPhone lol. And sometimes there is no way to plug my phone for awhile. That's why they bought it for me to plug my phone during trips. It's so helpfully and practically.

9. plastic bottles with a filter in it

( I don't like the American water from the sink that everybody drinks here. It is so chlorinated and taste gross for me.

And I can fill the water bottles up, with sink water and the filter will clear it. So it won't taste bad anymore. )

10. funnel cake maker with a already made funnel cake mix and the recipe ( oh my goodness I ate funnel cake on a fair and I loved it, can't wait to do

It by myself ! )

11. Basketball ( I'm in the basketball team in school. And I wanted to practice so bad. So I've got a basketball to practice for myself)

12. A Wilson beachvolleyball with a Volleyball net ( this was My favorite present at all. They don't have volleyball here. Neither in school nor an outside adult team. I was so sad 'cause I'm playing since I'm young and I just missed it. The net and the ball will give me the opportunity to practice again and play !! )

13. And I got some movies that I like 

After we all opened our gifts we're enjoyed them.

Kaitlind and Kamryn got bows so we went out and shot the arrows. 

It was my first time.

Christmas Eve

On christmas Eve we've been at my host aunt house to exchange presents with her, her son, his fiancée and their child.

We had dinner. After that we went home and had a Christmas movie night. 

At the evening we were allowed to open one present. 

Christmas Parade

On Monday we had the christmas Parade in Broken Bow. My host Family an I we're in the Parade with the "Health Care" company.

My host sisters and me were dressed as elves. My host mom was a snow man called frosty and my host dad was the police officer.

After school we all got dressed and went to the parade. Before the parade started we put all the candys we had in our bags to handle them out during the Christmas parade.

We stood in line for a couple of hours. Everybody was freezing. But it's worth it! It was fun!

Long weekend !!

We got out of school on Friday. Because everybody thought it would be to dangerous to drive on the roads. They said the roads will freezes and they wanted to avoid accidents.

It wasn't bad so we could eventually go to school. Americans in the south are really afraid of cold weather because they not used to drive in those weather conditions.

Anyways I enjoyed my long weekend. 

My host sister had some friends over the weekend. We watched a lot of movies and had a sleepover.

On Saturday we had a taco night.

And on Sunday we went to the movie theatre to watch frozen. Kayleigh and Kamrym really wanted to watch it.

It was an adorable movie. Recommendable for watching with the family.

After that we got all our costumes for the parade on Monday done.

Dang it !!

Blessedly she got rid of it. But now she has worms ... 

I hope she doesn't get something else soon.

Today we were at "The Parks at Arlington" a mall where you can go ice skating

I got bored in those Christmas stores so I  start decorating wreaths lol

We had an awesome dinner with the whole family at our house

Wedding

We had a Little choctaw Wedding at a Choctaw church. It was really neat.

They had a piano at church.

I got the permission to play. From

now on I really appreciate the opportunity to get piano lesson at home (Germany ).

And I miss to have my own piano.

Hopefully me and my host mom can avoid the rules.

New Family

I love my new family. I already knew them before. That's why my new host mom wants to take me. I was so surprised when I figured out that she took me voluntarily.
She gave me the opportunity to stay in Broken Bow, to keep my school with all my friends. And you probably can't imagine how thankful I am. But I really appreciate what Barb and Brian did for me.

And all my friends and my favorite teachers are so happy about my new family.
Because everybody knows that they're such an awesome family at all.

Now I have a lovely host mom (Barb) and a host dad (Brian) and 3 host sisters and one host brother,
Kamyrn is 10 , Kayleigh 11 and Kaitlind 16 years old. My host brother Kaleb is something around 20 years old, he doesn't live with us.
And we have 3 dogs and one big dog who stays outside with our 3 outside cats.

Why I needed to change the family

I was struggling with my host mom. She treats me bad was rude and we never really get along. I tried ... even with my guardian but it didn't work. Finally she chucks me out. She blamed me for her health issues. She said that I caused her "heart attack", even the nurse said she is perfectly fine. She got some pain in her chest because she got angry and mad about me, that's all. But honestly I didn't even do anything.. I just ask her if I could stay with some basketball friends and she got mad and picked me up. And the best thing of the story - her son find out what happen through his mom (my ex-host mother). And I have no clue what she said but he freaked out and start to threat. He was like,when you hurt my mom I will hurt you and you won't be pretty anymore, I don't care if I go to jail or not, I'll send you back to Germany bla bla ... when he was talking to me he starts to shaking and yell. Another reason why I had to change the family. Oh and by the way he's something around 20 years old got married, has 2 children, is almost divorced, got a new girlfriend and was in the military.
My host mom is 54 years old and lived more than 10 years alone and never raised a girl.

Thanksgiving sell

We made some pilgrim heads out of chocolate, cookies and frosting.

For the thanksgiving sell in elementary school.
